Birthday Celebration for Luke at Six Flags

Yet another great day at Six Flags. We had asked Luke what he wanted to do for his birthday and this was his choice. He made the height requirement for Kong and he really wanted to ride that one...I of course failed to get the picture after he came off the ride. It was pretty funny because he sat in the very front row of the ride (one that scared me half to death) with Rick and Laurie and Bruce rode behind them. You could only see these little leg dangling in the air and flipping all around. He got off the ride and and we asked how it was he said "Fun, except I drooled all over myself!"
Checking out the walrus
Went to Shouka the Killer Whale show sat in the splash zone, up higher most of us (well, not me) got soaked. Last time we sat there we hadn't had a drop of water on us. Ooops. Leaving the show Madison tells me "Mama, I so really love that big big dolphin."
Butterfly house.
Waiting and not wanting to take a picture because the sun was in their eyes.

Balloon Boy Bob

Remember those plastic balloons you blew up with a stick? Bruce bought some for Luke and this was his creation he named Bob. The fumes from the balloons about put us all to sleep. And they make these for children? hehee...

Day for the Queen

We had the Mad girl by herself one night and asked what she wanted for dinner. Her reply was "quesadilla, mac & cheese and pasta." I told her to pick one. But nooooooo....B made it all for her. Spoiled much??

Water balloon fun

She was concentrating really hard because that balloon was pretty heavy.
She threw it, but it didn't pop.
Second try.
Bruce joining in the fun.
He threw it to high for my camera, so sorry, I didn't catch it. I am sure you can imagine what happened next.

Happy Halloween!

Two ninjas out of three...Unfortunately, we didn't have the kids this Halloween, but these two came by to Trick-or-Treat. Next year will be quite a treat though...stay tuned.

Rib Night!

I will just begin by bragging about B...our house smelled so deliciously like Rutherford Grill we all couldn't wait to eat. Wow. That is all I can say - B could give anyone, on any day, a run for their money on ribs. Can't wait for the next batch!

Karma

Well since I didn't listen to Mad... I am paying for it now. I had to take Monday off to be with Madison, worked Tuesday and then it
all went downhill from there. I tried to work yesterday. Made it until 12:30. I am ready to feel better.

The reason the blog got updated

Mad is sick. Poor girl. I feel horrible because she told me she didn't feel good this morning and I thought since she wasn't running a fever she was just playing a game because she didn't want to go to school. About 30 minutes into my work day I get the phone call to come get her and this is where she went as soon as she came home. Guess I will listen to her next time. :-(

I love living here!

Memory Walk 2009

Way to go Team Morris! After two months of raising money, our team was one of the top 10 fundraising teams in the Memory Walk. We raised over $2500! I accomplished my own goal of raising $500 too! We had an absolute beautiful day at Bidwell Park in Chico. A HUGE thank you to everyone that donated to this wonderful cause. Here's to you Grandpa!!

The best dinner

How pretty are these? Tequila-lime shrimp tacos with a mango pineapple salsa. And yes, I did it all by myself!

Chico Night

So while B was out golfing in Oregon with the boys...I got the chance to hang with my family for a fun night out at the Crazy Horse in Chico.
Great night, but I must say I am getting old... I kept thinking to myself how much fun I have just hanging out in my own house, with Bruce, a cocktail and music. And the best part being able to sleep in my own bed and not on my brother's couch. :-)
Me and Candice
My little (but way taller) brother Dakotah
How cute is my cousin Jonathan...and girls...he is single and quite a catch! :-)
And my gorgeous cousin Sarah.

I don't know what's been wrong with me...

I have just been a total slacker lately. I am gonna try to get some new stuff up here soon. We have pictures of B's stay in Bandon, the walk we did for my Grandpa and just random things. We have been busy every weekend, or so it seems....

A Mad Mad birthday

Kennedy Park - September 12
The cake!
I wish I could take the credit for this amazing cake, but I can't. A big huge thank you to Courtney for taking the time to make this for Mad. It was so good! I keep getting comments about it! So much in fact we were having dinner and the conversation went like this Aidan: Mom, that cake was so so good. The best cake ever. Luke and Mad: Yeah, it was!
Luke: Do you think she can make one for my birthday? Aidan: Yeah! Me too!! Do you think she can make a rainbow skull cake?
Mad with her new accessories...notice the high heels!
A super tired little birthday girl at the end of her day!

Guess she really needed a nap

After being sent to her room for telling me no this little "adorable" girl threw the biggest fit ever. Complete with throwing her self on the ground, kicking legs, stomping, screaming... and then this. Guess it wore her out!

Walking for Grandpa

On Saturday October 10th at Bidwell Park in Chico, my family and I are walking for my Grandpa Theron. Grandpa is in the final stages of Alzheimer's. Once an avid outdoorsman, he is now in a home and cannot speak. It progressed very quickly and it is harder than you can imagine to see So if any of our followers can help us out - please donate and help find a cure for this awful disease. http://memorywalk.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=300112&supid=262931686
